The Doylestown Oktoberfest and Skateboard Jam is a one-day family-friendly community event at the Doylestown YMCA for all to enjoy. The event is free to attend and will feature live music, food trucks, vendors, a beer tent, and an epic skate competition put on by Red Bull. Proceeds benefit:

  • Doylestown Health Live Like Brent Comfort Fund. The fund was created in late 2022 and since then, $15,000 has been made available to blood cancer patients in need.

  • The Doylestown YMCA Thrive Program; A 12-week program to support cancer survivors with an evidence-based cancer survivorship program. Focusing on recovering strength, endurance, and an overall sense of well-being

What to Expect

Doylestown Oktoberfest and Skate Jam is an all-day community festival for families, friends, and skateboard enthusiasts to gather and enjoy for a great cause!

SKATING

The event starts with an ALL AGES and ALL SKILL LEVEL completely open skate jam put on by our friends at Red Bull and their team of amateur skaters! The Jam is free to enter and we will have tons of prizes for tricks for the taking!

BEER GARDEN/VENDORS/FOOD TRUCKS

A Beer Garden with local beers. 20+ local and regional vendors will be set up to provide crafts, food, and beverages for everyone to enjoy. Our guests can also stop by the Live Like Brent Foundation tent to take part in raffles to support local blood cancer patients!

LIVE MUSIC

The live music kicks off at 2 PM with amazing acts like Wineskin, Teenage Satellites, Adam McKinley, Matt Freedman, DJ Q, and More!

KID BOUNCE ZONE

Bring the little ones to enjoy the festival scene and play on our giant inflatables! Bounce, slide, and enjoy an amazing day at the grounds of the YMCA!

CHARITY RAFFLE & GIVEAWAYS

  • No! This is a FREE community event for ALL to enjoy! Guests are welcome to watch the skate competition from 12-2 and enjoy the festival and live music until 6:30. There will be awesome vendors, crafts, and a huge raffle supporting great local causes. If you are interested in getting involved, please reach out at info@livelikebrent.com

  • Yes. The Live Like Brent Foundation which is dedicated to fighting blood cancer is the event host. Money raised will benefit blood cancer patients through the Doylestown Hospital Live Like Brent Comfort Fund and will support the YMCA Thrive Program.

  • There will be ample parking at the YMCA plus an overflow parking option. There will be volunteers and signs to help guide you.

  • The beer garden will be open to those 21 years and older. Cold beers will be served all-day to get into the Oktoberfest spirit!
