Penn Relays 5K
The Live Like Brent Foundation (LLBF) and the Penn Relays 5K have joined forces to help blood cancer patients cover critical out-of-pocket expenses during the fight of their lives.
Founded in memory of Brent P. Evans—a proud Philadelphian, beloved friend, and blood cancer warrior—the Live Like Brent Foundation carries forward his motto: live each day to the fullest and lead a life filled with passion. Brent embodied this spirit and inspired everyone around him to do the same.
In 2017, Brent’s courageous battle with cancer came to an end, but his legacy lives on. Today, the LLBF honors not only Brent’s memory but also the memory of all those lost to blood cancer. In partnership with the Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine, the foundation continues Brent’s mission by providing meaningful financial support to patients when they need it most.
